“Train or Remain the Same”

As I’m faced with the need to expand my skillset through training to address future risks we may face. I often think of my firearm instructor Ron at Tactical Fitness who has a saying “Train or Remain the Same”. Foresight to the degree I have it can be a blessing and a curse. I’m blessed to have the motivation to train with Firearms and Martial Arts before it seems like a good idea to the masses. The down side is our current home is packed full of various training tools. For example BOB (stand alone punching dummy) needs to be moved from around the trampoline, treadmill and inversion table before I can train. Sovereign Homes have adequate training spaces or large gyms to provide a dedicated training area. I believe Personal Sovereignty increases as we build skills and fitness to protect and sustain ourselves as humans.

The gym is the second largest space in the walkout basement.

La Sal Mountains, Southern Utah.

My wife training for a backpack elk hunt in the La Sal Mountains..

This particular camp spot was basecamp at around 10,000 feet. We hiked up and over the pass from here.
